NBC’s “The Voice” premiere episode is trending with 13-year-old contestant Kennedy Holmes. She stole the show when she performed Adele‘s “Turning Tables.”
She was the last contestant of Monday night who was introduced by host Carson Daly at the end of the show. “Let’s check in with the final artist of the night,” Daly said with the appearance of St. Louis’ teenage girl.
It all started as a normal performance when music started to play. But when Kennedy Holmes began to sing with her ‘hoooo’, the shocked judge reacted with a word, ‘oh man.’
She performed only 50 seconds yet, when all the judges including Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Blake Shelton pressed the buttons to show the glimpse of the young entertainer by moving their chairs.
Parents and brother of typical middle school student were also there on the side of the stage, who were shocked with happiness after seeing the reaction of judges who lost their minds in the first few seconds of the performance.

Spinning all four chairs are not an easy task for a performer but Holmes remained successful which increased the rating of the show. That’s why she was thanked by coach/judge Blake Shelton to ’cause their ratings are going to shoot through the roof this evening.’
“Let me be the first to thank you for coming to ‘The Voice,” God Gave Me You singer Shelton said. “I think you are the best vocalist that has auditioned this year. I want you to pick me as your coach so you can teach me how to sing like that.”
Jennifer Hudson got ready to sing with Holmes when she wished to sing with And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going singer. Hudson came on the stage and joined Holmes.
