The star cast released by Netflix includes same old prominent faces like Tom Ellis, Lauren German, and Inbar Lavi. Neil Gaiman created the role of Lucifer first for The Sandman comic-book series previously. The lead character of Lucifer will remain the same. It will be a fantasy drama about the devil, Lucifer Morningstar. The idea is, Lucifer gets bored in hell and thinks of doing more evil outside the box as he joins LAPD. Since he has supernatural powers, he can manipulate humans quite well.
