News outlets have reported 49-years old Birdman (Bryan Williams) is under investigation over some allegations. He was reportedly the mastermind behind the 2015 shooting of a tour bus of Lil Wayne (Dwayne Carter Jr.).

TMZ first published the story of 36-years old performer. The Cobb County, Georgia DA confirmed the news on September 28. His fellow performer 27-years old Young Thug is also under investigation.

The remarkable development took place 3-years after the April 2015 shooting in Atlanta. The shooter, Jimmy Carlton Winfrey allegedly fired shots 2 tour buses after the performance of Lil Wayne in a nightclub.

Winfrey was ultimately sentenced to jail for 20-years. The confrontation happened at the leading edge between Bryan Williams and Dwayne Carter Jr. Wayne released long-awaited album Tha Carter V on September 28.

The fight was poured on to the streets of Atlanta in April 2015 when Weezy performed at the Compound night club. The gunfire started after 3:30 a.m. at the time of leaving two tour buses. Lil Wayne was also one of those buses. The shooter, Winfrey found involved and sentenced to 10-years in prison.

It wasn’t the first time Birdman involved to the shooting. He clearly denied it in July 2015 during an interview with Angie Martinez. He said, “Wayne is my son no matter what. It will never change”.

The Cobb County DA has clearly mentioned that no matter what Birdman says because the case is very serious. The WSB-TV journalist Mike Petchenik tweeted on September 28, “#Cobb DA’s office tells me they will decide during the next few weeks whether to charge Birdman”.
